What is an Apostille? Your Questions Answered

An apostille is essentially an international notarization. It's a certification that verifies the authenticity of a notarized document for use in countries that are part of the Hague Apostille Convention. This special certification transforms your Florida documents into legally recognized paperwork in over 120 countries worldwide. This certification is often required for legal documents, such as:

  • Birth and marriage certificates
  • Death certificates and inheritance documents
  • Power of Attorney documents (our most requested service)
  • Diplomas and academic transcripts
  • Adoption paperwork Business contracts and Articles of Incorporation
  • Foreign visa applications and immigration document
  • Passports & Driver Licenses

Having helped hundreds of clients through this process, I understand the urgency and importance of these documents. Our notaries understand the importance of proper apostille certification and work efficiently to help you meet international document requirements.

Our Apostille Process: Fast, Reliable, and Convenient

We handle the apostille process from start to finish, providing you with a smooth experience. Here's how it works:

  1. Notarization – We notarize your document, ensuring it's properly prepared for apostille certification. If you already have your document notarized we would like to see a scan or picture of the notary block to confirm that it's notarized correctly for a Florida apostille.
  2. Submission to State Authorities – We then walk your document into the Florida Department of State for apostille certification.
  3. Delivery – Once certified, we deliver your apostille certified document back to you, ready for use abroad.

Most standard apostille services are completed within 3-5 business days. Need it faster? Our rush apostille service can deliver your documents in as little as 24-48 hours for time-sensitive matters.

By using our mobile apostille service, you save time and avoid the hassle of navigating the apostille process on your own.
